Justin Dahlberg – Co-Founder, The Business Growing Place
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, where I learned early that success takes hustle—but I also saw the stress it can bring. That’s why I’ve spent the last 20+ years mastering how to simplify business through smart systems and strong, practical marketing.
Detroit Lakes isn’t just where our business is based—it’s where my story with Rebecca began over 21 years ago. After starting our first business together and raising a family across multiple states, we’re proud to be back in the place where it all started—now helping other Lakes Area businesses grow and thrive.
From launching a service company while working full-time and raising four daughters, to scaling operations and improving workflows, I’ve learned that the right systems and clear marketing make all the difference. I also spent 8 years as a corporate Process Improvement Specialist, honing skills in building efficient, results-driven systems.
With a degree in Marketing and a passion for turning chaos into clarity, I now help local businesses—like electricians, plumbers, and small-town entrepreneurs—ditch the overwhelm and grow with confidence. My goal? Help you focus on what you do best—while we build the visibility and structure that fuels your growth right here in the Lakes Area.
Rebecca Dahlberg – Co-Founder, The Business Growing Place
I’ve spent the past two decades turning service businesses into success stories. I started with a simple goal—make $1,100 a month—and grew my first cleaning company from scratch to 60+ employees before selling it. I went on to repeat that growth with two more businesses, proving that the right systems and strategy can scale anything.
Most recently, I helped a Generac dealership 10X their growth by leading operations, writing procedures, and building a marketing engine that worked. That experience inspired The Business Growing Place.
Today, I use that hands-on knowledge to help electricians, plumbers, generator dealers, and other service pros grow smarter. With a degree in Business Management & Marketing and certification as a Sales Coach, I combine strategy and real-world experience to help clients build visibility, generate leads, and grow with confidence.
